Brain Tumor Awareness

I was never really aware of cancer until my dad was diagnosed. It only took a few months for me to go to the doctor and get checked out by my primary and I have my colonoscopy scheduled for the next few weeks.

The good thing is that one of the newest advance is radiosurgery. They do everything by commputer and go in and use a gamma knife to get the most accurate cuts. This a procedure that they are currently doing with brain tumors. However, I can see where this could also be beneficial in areas like the colon, pancreas, liver, or prostate.

BrainTumorTreatment.Org is a great resources for not only brain tumor patients but cancer patients alike. They offer educational information as well as information on treatments.
