Happy Thanksgiving

Just wanted to say "Happy Thanksgiving" to all of my blog readers.

I'm so fortunate to have a healthy and happy family.

Best wishes to everyone this Thanksgiving and throughout the year!

Still sick Grammy

Grammy's been sick for almost a week now. Poor kid - snot everywhere and boy is she a whiner!!

She also gets these crusty boogers on her face and then her hair gets in them. It's yucky.

Of course, because she's so congested she also ends up barfing at night after she's had her bottle and starts coughing.

I hope she starts to get better cause I hate having sick baby.

Tyrone.

Tyrone is the doll that Orli gave Grammy when we saw her in Binghamton. I guess this stuffed toy is from the Backyardagins on Nickelodeon. I've never seen the show --- but Margot has.

Grammy has been taking Tyrone with her everywhere and even wants us to put a diaper on the stuffed animal. Since Grammy's in a size 4 diaper many time the diaper actually covers up the doll and it looks like she's just walking around holding a diaper close to her.

Whacked kid.

My gammy

Well, G is taking her daily nap and she's been quite the little turd today. We went this morning to sign papers at the lawyers office for the adoption and she was a real turkey.

She started complaining that she had to be changed and of course I left the diaperbag in the car so I had to excuse myself to get the diaper bag. Then I went to change her and she literally was dry as a bone.

So we went back and she continued to whine and cry as I'm signing about 200 papers.

Finally, we go to meet Amy at Diamonds and have a fun time. Graem ate tons of rice and kheer. However, the onions that she typically likes were really spicy and she spit them out.

Naptime was a battle too and she didn't want to go to sleep!

Good mommy!

Graem is such a good mommy! She loves her doll. She changes her diaper every few minutes, complete with a new diaper and even wipes! She covers her baby up with a burp cloth and even pats her baby to sleep.

Sometimes we have to step in because she starts beating the baby and we have to step in. Or she throws baby and we have to remind her that good mommys don't throw their babys or else CPS will take their baby away.

But other than the small incidents of parental rage Graem is a very loving mommy. Just remind us that if we do have a new baby never to leave him/her alone with Graem!

Sick Grammy

Grammy's sick!

So much for a great weekend like I had planned. Graem is really sick. She has the whole raspy voice, cough, and runny nose.

Last night at 3:30am she barfed and thank God it got on Margot and not the sheets! We changed the blanket that Graem sleeps on, cleaned everyone up and went back to sleep.

Today she has the cutest raspy voice today. But I wish she'd just feel better!

Can't wait for a weekend!

I can't wait to pick Grammy up this afternoon and have a weekend!! I love my weekends cause it's time that we can hang out as a family and just relax!

I also like the weekends cause it means that Monday and Tuesday or Graem and my days out!

Plus, you know it's going to be a good weekend --- especially after I made an Aldi run earlier today!!

Grammy Ch00 loves Vindal00!

I love this kid!!

Last night Margot got my favorite - Sangams! Grammy ate all the curry including the Lamb Vindaloo. She even wanted more!

I knew Margot eating curry when pregnant would help with our child's spicy tolerance!

This afternoon

I ended up cleaning out the closet today because I was looking for my damn diploma. I didn't find the diploma but I did find an old zip disk, some dead bugs, and some old pictures.

Of course, I just moved all of our crap from one place to another and all of it is now located in the basement!

Now Grammy thinks she has a playroom! She also played tonight in the hamper. She loves throwing things in the hamper then running around and getting them out. Repeat.

Today

I took Grammy to daycare. She really has such a great time. When I picked her up she was waiting in the changing room and signed for a change. There were a few other kids crying and the teachers all looked flustered!

Sure enough - p00!!

So, I changed her and we went out to Target to buy more Baby Alive dolls!

We are up to 8 now.

Baby Alive - Part II

After tot spot we went to Target. Margot wanted me to pick up some things for work, plus, I wanted to see if they had any Elmo -TMX dolls or Baby Alives. They had one Baby Alive with a bonus pack for $39.99 - so I bought it!

I asked the worker at Target and he said they should get more Elmos by month end. I figure I'll stop in every few days and if they have them - I'm going to buy them all out and post them on Ebay!!

Right now, the Baby Alive dolls are going for $55.00 and the Elmos are going for $60.

Tot Spot - The hot spot!

Today we went to Tot Spot at the Youth Bureau and had a really good time. Graem played with Julius and Max.

I also met a new lady, Kristen (Julius' mother) who is 9 months pregnant. She's really nice and we talked about the kids and her giving birth any minute now!

I also saw my friend Penny from last year. Penny's really nice and her son Max is a few months older than Graem. Graem towers over him though!

The boys really do play rougher and more violent. Plus, they just beat each other up! I watch all of the kids and most of the time the girls are close to their mothers or sharing their baby dolls and the boys are ramming their cars or motorcycles into each other!

The girl is down for a 1 - 2 - 3

So, Grammy got so tired this afternoon. She kept asking for a baba and of course - I gave in. She was laying on the floor and whining.

Of course, she's been holding her baby all day. In fact, she even tried to put both of her baby's babas into her mouth at once! Quite funny.

She fell asleep in my arms this afternoon and that is always a treat! I held her for the first hour then my arm fell asleep.

Now, she's lying like a little princess on the couch and getting her beauty sleep.

Welcome to Llama Mama Drama website!

This is the first of many great comments on what it's like raising a 2 year old! Today dearest daughter was discovered pulling our poor (disabled) cat across the kitchen floor.

It might not have been so bad -- but it was with his gimpy tail.

Poor Murphy.

Bad Baby.

I think this could be a sign of watching too much violent "Tom and Jerry" on the cartoon channel! Or maybe a side effect of reading "No, David". A child's book where a little boy gets in way too much trouble for his own good. One page even has a picture of the little boy dragging a cat and David says "But he likes it!"

I'm pretty sure by the look on Murphy's face -- she didn't like it!
