When I was a kid my father taught me to play backgammon. I know the basics and could probably play a game...but I would need a refresher course.
Backgammon and chess are games of skill and wisdom. I'm pretty good at games and puzzles and most times I beat Shawna and Graem at board games. (Okay, that's not saying much!)
Now there's a new place on the web that I can hang out called BackGammonMasters.com! They offer a great website where I can learn how to play backgammon again and receive the refresher course that I so badly need.
They also offer tournaments where I can play other people online and options to play for real money.
Hmm...maybe I should take up backgammon and quit my day job?
I guess the best idea would be to get really good, go up against the best, win a little money and then slowly leave my day job!
Of course, I'd have to listen to 'Life According to Jean-Claude' to get any real tips on how to play backgammon or how to cut onions. He's just your typical cool cat that has a good head on his shoulders and a huge sense of humor!
